Solar Plexus Healing: Flipping the Switch - Power Up

Today is the first full day of summer in the northern hemisphere having just passed the solstice. It is the time when the sun is at its most powerful. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to put this grid together and capture some of that healing solar energy. The solar plexus chakra is also known as the 'sun' or 'fire' chakra as it is the place from which we derive our personal power and sense of self. Now is the time to work on bringing the solar plexus chakra into balance in order to take action to move forward with a sense of purpose toward our goals.

In an effort to bring healing to the 'power' chakra I have infused the pictured solar plexus chakra mandala crystal grid with reiki. These healing energies were sent out to all those willing to accept it through the middle of September 2021. Feel free to use this image to connect into this healing any time you need to re-balance your solar plexus chakra.

Solar Plexus Chakra (Manipura) -

The solar plexus chakra is the third of the seven main chakras and sits at the central base of your rib cage where your xiphoid bone is located. The Sanskrit word Manipura means dwelling place of the jewel. The solar plexus chakra is the center of personal power (our inner fire) and integrity, so it is appropriate to equate it with the preciousness of a jewel. Having an unbalanced solar plexus can manifest as low self-esteem, lack of will power, inability to get things done, and lack of energy. This is the chakra that regulates all digestion, whether of food, information, or emotions. Be mindful of what you are feeding yourself through food, experience, imagery, or aural immersion. Lower vibrational forms of any of these will negatively impact the solar plexus chakra and therefore the entire energy system of the body. Keeping the solar plexus chakra open and balanced is the key to maintaining the health of the physical vessel.

The solar plexus chakra is associated with the color yellow. Yellow embodies the element of fire, identity, and ego. It is the color of joy, optimism, enthusiasm, beauty, wisdom, knowledge, intellect, fulfillment, abundance, courage, and self-confidence. Using this color when you need a boost to your solar plexus can be extremely helpful.

Citrine :

Carries the power of the sun and is exceedingly energizing. Helps increase joy, happiness, enthusiasm, self-confidence and self-esteem. Citrine is particularly powerful for promoting and attracting abundance. It reverses self-destructive behavior, including patterns of negative thinking and negative self-talk.

Golden Tigers Eye :

Contains the energies of the earth and the sun, grounding the spiritual into the physical realm. Deals with issues of self-worth and self-criticism, blocked creativity, supports integrity and assists in accomplishing goals.

Red Tigers Eye :

Overcomes lethargy and provides motivation and focus to accomplish goals. Can be used to enhance the flow of energy within the body.

Bumble Bee Jasper :

Boosts vitality, drive, and motivation, empowers, and stimulates creativity. Helps lift depression and aids the intellect by removing distracting thoughts and emotions. Bumble bee jasper facilitates the seeding of new projects and is the embodiment of triumph over the impossible.

St. John's Wort (flowers):

I was inspired to include these beautiful flowers in this grid based on a blog post I received in my email. These flowers clearly carry the power of the sun and the benefits of the brilliant yellow color. As an herb this plant is used to combat depression; looking at the flowers brings me joy so I wanted to include them in this grid to do just that. For a more in depth look at this amazing plant I have included the link to the article that sparked my interest.

While sending this healing session I also had the below solar plexus chakra meditation track from Meditative Mind playing in the background. I wanted to include the link in case it could be of assistance to you.
